Have you travelled on a train? Read and enjoy this poem.

New words: -

Mountains: - a very high hill.

Passengers: - a person who is travelling in a car, bus, aeroplane, train etc but not driving.

Rivers:- a large natural flow of water, that goes across land and after all into the sea.

Precious:- a great value.

Mails:- the system of collecting and sending letters and packages.

Plains:- a large area of flat land with trees and greens.

Dusk:- the time in the evening, when the sun has already gone down and it is nearly dark.

Dawn:- the early morning, when the light first appears in the sky.


Reading is fun : 

1. where do the trains run?

Answer:--  the trains run-

 over the mountains,

 over the plains

 and over the rivers.

2. what are the "precious loads" that they carry?

Answer:-  The trains carrying th precious loads of their passenger's.

3. when do the trains run?

Answer: The trains run through day and darkness, through dusk and dawn.

4. What is "dusk" and "dawn"?

Answer:  The "dusk" and "Dawn" is the duration from sunset to sunrise.


Let's write :

Describe an interesting train or bus journey you have taken or, would like to take. write four sentences about your journey. you can use some of the following words and phrases.

1. I love train journeys when it's going through the hills.

2. Train is a very long vehicle, it can be loaded 1000 people at a time. 

3. When I travel on the train must be seat beside the window.

4.I like to eat packed snacks and drinking the soft drink in the whole journey

Newspaper: -- documents consisting of news, reports, articles and photographs
that is published every day or every weak.

Cucumbers:-- a long, thin vegetable with dark green skin that does not need to be cooked.

Cabbage:-- a large round vegetable with thick green, dark red or white leaves.

Potatoes:-- a round vegetable that grows under the ground with brown, yellow or red skin. potatoes are white or yellow inside.

Radish:-- a long white vegetable with a strong taste. you will easily eat it in a raw way like salads.

Reading is fun :

1. What sound do you hear on the road in the morning?
In the morning we hear the sound of birds chirping, tingling the voice of newspaper boy's cycle, vegetable man's voice, "potatoes, radish, cucumbers, carrots and crows says caw caw caw.

2.what is the vegetable man selling?
The vegetable man selling vegetables like potatoes, radish, cucumbers, carrots etc.

3. Why is the road annoyed with the crow?
The road annoyed the crow because the birds chirping, caw, caw. All say only to wake up the road, But the roads have already been widely awake.
